Choosing a Yoga Teacher Training is an exciting decision, and it's natural to have questions. We've answered some of the most common questions below. If you can't find what you're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Training
Do I need to want to become a yoga teacher?
Not at all.
Many of our trainees join simply to deepen their understanding of yoga, refine their personal practice and immerse themselves in the philosophy behind yoga. Teaching is only one of many possible outcomes.
Do I need to be advanced?
No.
You don't need to be able to perform advanced poses or be incredibly flexible.
We're looking for people who are passionate about learning, committed to their practice and willing to grow throughout the journey.
How much yoga experience should I have?
While there is no minimum requirement, we recommend having a consistent yoga practice before commencing the course so you can get the most from the experience.
Is this course suitable if I've never taught before?
Absolutely.
Our training is designed for beginners as well as those looking to build confidence and teaching skills.
Course Information
How long is the course?
The 200 Hour Teacher Training is delivered over 10 weekends, allowing you to continue working and maintaining your regular commitments.
Will there be homework?
Yes.
Outside of the training weekends you'll complete reading, written reflections, home practice and preparation for practical teaching sessions.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment is designed to support your learning and includes:
Practical teaching
Written reflections
Participation
Home practice
Final teaching assessment
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes.
Upon successful completion you'll graduate with your 200 Hour Teacher Training Certificate from Wynroy Hot Yoga Academy.
Investment
Is a payment plan available?
Yes.
A flexible payment plan is available with a $500 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance must be paid before the first training weekend.
Can I receive the Early Bird price with a payment plan?
Yes, provided the full Early Bird balance is paid before the advertised Early Bird closing date.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Our cancellation policy is:
More than 30 days before commencement: Full refund less the $500 non-refundable deposit.
Between 30 and 14 days: 75% refund.
Within 14 days: No refund.
Becoming a Teacher
Will I be guaranteed a teaching position?
No.
Completing the course does not guarantee employment with Wynroy Hot Yoga Academy or another studio.
However, graduates who demonstrate professionalism, confidence and align with our values may be considered for future opportunities as they arise.
(I think this is important to include—it manages expectations while still leaving the door open.)
Can I teach immediately after graduating?
Yes.
Upon successful completion you'll have the knowledge and confidence to begin your teaching journey.
Like any profession, your skills will continue to develop through experience and ongoing education.
After Graduation
Will I still receive support?
Absolutely.
Once you graduate you'll become part of the Wynroy Hot Yoga Academy community.
Our graduates are always welcome to continue learning, asking questions and growing alongside us.
Will there be future training opportunities?
Yes.
Our vision is to continue expanding the Academy with advanced trainings, workshops and continuing education opportunities.
